How a project runs
Nine Stages From First Call to Install Day
A renovation of any size runs long. On a whole home it is usually a year or more. Knowing the shape of it up front is most of what keeps a project from feeling out of control halfway through.
This is how ours works. Every stage has a deliverable and a decision point, so you always know what you are approving and what happens next.
The nine stages
Design Consultation
We walk the space together, in person or on a call for a room we can see. You describe what is not working and what you want the house to do. You leave with a straight read on scope, and we leave knowing whether we are the right studio for it.
Contractual Phase
Scope, deliverables and timeline go in writing before any drawing starts. Nobody should be guessing at what is included.
Schematics
First plans. Layouts, elevations, where walls move and where they cannot. This is the stage where the expensive ideas get tested cheaply, on paper.
Design Refining
We narrow the direction. Materials get shortlisted, finishes get sampled, and the plan tightens around decisions you have actually made rather than options still open.
Design Presentation
The full scheme in one sitting. Drawings, selections, materials in hand. You see the room before it exists, and you approve it before anyone orders anything.
Project Bidding
Approved drawings go out to trades. We read the bids with you, because the cheapest number and the right number are not always the same one.
Procurement
Every item ordered, tracked and received against a schedule. Freight damage, backorders and substitutions are handled here rather than on install day.
Implementation and Project Management
Site visits, trade coordination, and the calls that keep a build on schedule. This is the stretch where a design either survives contact with a job site or does not.
Install Day
Furniture, art, styling, and the walkthrough. The house is finished, photographed and handed back to you.

Why it is structured this way
You make decisions instead of phone calls
The drawings, the selections, the bidding, the procurement and the install all sit inside the firm. That is what full service means here, and it is the reason the stages above look the way they do.
Splitting the roles is what keeps a project moving when a cabinet shipment slips or a wall opens up on something nobody expected. Designers carry the drawings and the selections. Procurement carries the orders, the freight and the install date. Jennifer carries the project.

Stage one
Book the consultation
Everything above starts with a walk through the space. We give you a straight read on scope, and you decide from there.
