Whole-Home Renovation Interior Design in Houston

A whole-home renovation means the house comes apart in stages and goes back together as one idea. It runs a year or more, and the hardest part is not any single room. It is keeping every room consistent while the schedule moves under you.

We take the drawings, the selections, the bidding, the procurement and the install. You approve a scheme once, at the design presentation, and after that you make decisions rather than phone calls.

Most of these projects touch the kitchen and the primary suite, because those are the rooms that carry a house. From there it is a question of how far the material story runs. On Vue Point it ran across three levels, floor to floor.

Common questions

What people ask

How long does a whole-home renovation take?

On a construction or renovation project of this size, Jennifer will typically spend at least a year with one client. The design stages run first, then bidding, then the build. We give you a realistic schedule at the design presentation rather than at the first call.

Do you work with our contractor, or bring your own?

Either. We collaborate with the client's builder or general contractor where one is already in place, and we read the bids with you when the work goes out. On several projects the contractor relationship is the reason the design got executed correctly.

Do you handle furniture and styling, or only the construction side?

Both. Procurement sits inside the firm, so every item is ordered, tracked and received against a schedule. Install day covers furniture, art and styling, and ends with a walkthrough.
